[edit] Tommi's report

Tuk and Solem vaeltaja meet for the first time in a rainforest, both looking for a certain ancient city. Some insults are flung, both continue their merry ways. Both independently discover a mesa, atop which some ruins of greenish stone can be seen. Solem tries climbing, yet must hide as a roc called forth by Tuk arrives. The bird effortlessly carries Tuk up and neither notice Solem hanging on the other talon of the roc.

Atop the mesa there is a sealed building, imposing in size. Tuk, a shaman, investigates only to find a powerful entity lurking behind, and chooses not to open the portal. Wisely, I might add. The constant rain drenches both characters, so they go looking for a place where they could dry themselves up. Tuk finds a bridge and enters. He does not come back, so Solem, too, moves to the bridge. It leads through a thick for to another location within the abandoned city. Tuk enters a building, find nothing but a heap of bones, and explores further. Solem vaeltaja enters the same building, moves closer to the bones, is attacked by a huge flying bat-like abomination impervous to his machete, but manages to jump off it and run out of the building.

A number of smaller buildings, each guarded by a pair of silvery statues with huge precious gems for eyes, decipting snakemen with pincers of a crab, is discovered by Tuk. He tries entering one, but the statues are enchanted so that turning one's head way from their eyes is next to impossible, but being the mighty shaman he is, Tuk manages to do so. He notices a shape shaking under a tree, and warns Solem to be wary of the statues. He, after some deliberation, heeds the advice.

The shape is Grisnach, fearful, mad, cold and wounded, hiding from the bat-like monster, which does attack at approximately that moment, though it does not come uner the trees, and hence is easy enough to avoid. Grisnach attackes the companions, is subdued, and explains the hostility by his alleged madness. The tree enter one of the tombs, which is the nature of the buildings. A grave with some treasures, a mummified lizard-being and various crystals containing colourless liquid, are discovered. Tuk is drawn by a bronze pendant, which is sufficient treasure for him. Wall-carvings indicate something little about the rituals of the inhabitants; living sacrifices they did include and the bat-creature was sacrificed to.

A quick retreat from some new horror and the grave-robbers are leaving by a set of stairs Grisnach knows of (in spite of claiming to have been brough up by a monster). Some ghosts of the lizardfolk are seen partaking in sacrifice, but nothing tangible of interest, so the characters leave.
